O:AD Studio has been appointed to renovate an infill site in Swansea. Currently, it’s a small art gallery that will be transformed into a residential dwelling. The proposed renovation flips the traditional orientation for living accommodations by placing the bedrooms on the ground floor, facing a private courtyard. In contrast, the living spaces will be located on the first floor, benefiting from more natural light and access to a raised deck.
